This report was commissioned by the Scottish Parliament to evaluate the potential threat of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to parliamentary businesses and to consider how deepfake videos may affect the integrity of Parliament TV, which one participant dubbed ‘chamberfakes’.
The report was written by Dr Ben Collier, Dr Morgan Currie and Dr Benedetta Catanzariti, all based at the University of Edinburgh and published by SCCJR on 10 Dec 2024.
