Carla Cesaroni researches the experiences and adjustment of incarcerated young people. She is currently involved in two projects. One is exploring young peoples interactions with police from a developmental lens in partnership with Justice For Children and Youth – Canada’s leading legal clinic for youth. The other is in development. It is a study of masculinities and trauma amongst incarcerated young adult men in Scotland and Canada. Her research co-investigators include Mathew Maycock of Dundee University and Nina Vaswani of the University of Strathclyde.
