Adam finished his PhD with the SCCJR at the University of Glasgow in 2017, and prior to that completed a MSc in Applied Social Research in Criminology from the University of Stirling and an Honours degree in Criminological studies from Abertay University.
He is now a lecturer in Criminology at De Montfort University, Leicester.
He has conducted research and published around the securitisation of sporting mega-events, security governance and policing, and the influence of urban regeneration on perceptions of crime and (in)security.
