We are delighted to announce that two new international partners have joined the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research.

At the end of 2021 SCCJR formalised partnerships with the Institute of Criminology, Ljubljana Law Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and Delito y Sociedad (Crime and Society) programme from the Faculty of Law and Social Science, Universidad del Litoral, Argentina.

Mojca M. Plesničar, research associate and assistant professor at the Institute of Criminology commented on the new partnership: “I think it is a great privilege to be able to look at common criminological issues and criminal justice problems through different historical, cultural and legal lenses. Partnering with the SCCJR gives the Institute’s participation in a global debate on these topics an additional boost. Hopefully, our collaborations will be many and fruitful.”
