The display features special loan items from the British Museum, and highlights case studies of theft and trade of artefacts from Guatemala, Cambodia and Italy as well as the looting of archaeological sites in Iraq in the 1990s and 2000s.
The exhibition runs until January 3, 2016 – don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the contemporary global trade in looted cultural objects. The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm (closed Mondays), and admission is free.
An accompanying seminar series runs until December 10.
