SCCJR PhD student Annie Crowley has beaten off competition from around the globe to be awarded the 2016 Feminist Criminology Graduate Research Scholarship. This is an outstanding achievement, as an unprecedented number of entries were received this year.
The scholarship is awarded annually by the Division on Women and Crime (DWC) of the American Society of Criminology, to “an exceptional graduate student in the field of gender and crime”.
Annie will receive $5000 US towards her research project ‘Protection for Whom? Responding to “At Risk” Young Women in Scotland’. Read more about Annie and her research in our People section.
