sectarianism and its effect on our society. Using a conversation model rather than a 2-sided debate
these conversations on ‘How sectarianism hurts…’ at GoMA will have contributions from invited
panelists and members of the audience.
This conversation explores ‘How sectarianism hurts… our communities’. Do you feel strongly about
your community and the effect that sectarianism has on it. It has been called ‘Scotland’s Shame’ by
the previous First Minister Jack McConnell and the current First Minister Alex Salmond has pledged to
continue to tackle Sectarianism and promote Scotland as a tolerant and forward thinking country for all
it citizens and visitors.
If you feel you would like to contribute to this conversation or are interested in hearing what others
have to say please join us on: Thursday 21 June 6.30 – 7.30pm at GoMA.
