3rd May 2017

Distant Voices presents a hands-on evening of question, thought and action, exploring women’s experiences of community (and) justice through songs and creative dialogue.

Adding new stimulus to an important national conversation, Things Left Unsaid will make space for attendees to engage with others to imagine a more just Scotland.

New songs, created through songwriting workshops with women with lived experience of the criminal justice system, practitioners, managers and sector leaders, will be brought to a public audience for the first time.

Distant Voices is a collaboration between Vox Liminis and SCCJR.

Distant Voices: Women in Community Justice has been created in close partnership with Tomorrow’s Women, Includem, Turning Point 218, Catalyst, and HMPYOI Polmont, and has been funded by GCJA, SPS and Creative Scotland.
