Who are you calling dysfunctional? Families and Criminal Justice explored

When we know how important families are to individual functioning and to reducing reoffending, why are they so often ignored by the criminal justice system?

This free workshop features the latest research, examples of innovative practice and government plans for better engagement with families affected by the justice system. Join us to raise the profile of this issue and generate an agenda for action. The workshop is for practitioners in criminal justice and social work, policy makers, academics, service providers and users.

The event will include contributions from:  Prof Bill Whyte (Criminal Justice Social Work Development Centre), Circle Scotland, The Lighthouse Foundation and Families Outside.

This event is free to attend but if you wish to attend, please email k.hegyi@lbss.gla.ac.uk.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
