Biog: Elena Larrauri is Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona. She is a past President of the European Society of Criminology (2007-2010) and won the Rafael Salillas prize (Sociedad Española de Criminología) in 2007. Her most recent major publication is: Jacobs, J. and Larrauri, E. (2012) ‘Are criminal convictions a public matter? The US and Spain’, Punishment & Society 14 (1) January 2012.
