We wanted to provide an brief update regarding the 2024 Irish North/South Criminology Conference, to be hosted by Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University from 17th – 19th June 2024.

In order to accommodate some of the requests we’ve received, and to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to participate in the conference, we are delighted to announce that the deadline for the call for papers has been extended by one week:

New Deadline for Submission: Tuesday, 26th March

Call for Papers link: https://forms.office.com/e/LyZWGYWf5L

Many thanks to those who have already submitted their abstracts! We’ve been delighted to see such a range of exciting contributions, and we’re looking forward to putting the event programme and schedule together in the coming weeks. For those still considering their papers, we hope that this extension provides you with the time needed to finalise your proposals.

We’ll be back in touch in early April with further details regarding (free) conference registration, the conference dinner, along with some helpful information re travel and accommodation. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries at irishcriminology2024@ulster.ac.uk.

We’re looking forward to seeing your submissions, and welcoming you to Belfast in June!

With thanks and best wishes,

The 2024 Conference Organising Team
