Bio

Lana Ireland worked at Victim Support Glasgow whilst gaining her undergraduate degree in Social Science, majoring in Psychology. Working on the British pilot of the VS Homeless Project, she gained experience of working with victims of crime who were often perpetrators too. Her PhD focused on qualitative analysis of identity across the lifespan, with research interests including poverty, deprivation and social exclusion. Her current research role involves a mixed methods investigation into the impact of alcohol use on domestic violence.
