Dr Sarah Wilson

Bio

Sarah is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Stirling. Her recent research has combined theoretical interests in the sociology of families, relationships and personal life with developing sensory (visual and audial) and artistic quallitative research method. Much of her other research work has focused on parental substance misuse, while her PhD (2003, University of Edinburgh) explored the experience of HIV-positive mothers of managing everyday living.

She is a qualified solicitor, with some experience of practice in the areas of childcare and criminal law.
