Jackie Tombs is Professor of Criminology & Social Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University, Adjunct Professor at the Sellenger Centre for Research in Law, Justice and Policing, Edith Cowan University, Australia, Associate of the International Centre for Prison Studies, King's College, University of London, Member of the Editorial Board of the British Journal of Criminology and the Editorial Advisory Board of the Howard Journal. An Expert Advisor to the Council of Europe, she is on the Committee for the Howard League for Penal Reform in Scotland and is an Associate Member of the Scottish Consortium on Crime & Criminal Justice.
