About

Sarah joined the SCCJR in November 2009.  Prior to this she was employed as a researcher at the Criminal Justice Social Work Development Centre for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh and as a research assistant at the University of Glasgow’s Crichton Campus.  Sarah graduated from the University of Edinburgh’s MSc Social Research programme in 2004 and gained an M.A (Hons 1st Class) in Sociology from the University of Glasgow in 2003.
 
Sarah has had responsibility for a number of research and evaluation projects in the areas of gender inequality, community disposals, youth justice and early intervention, and responses to domestic violence.  She also tutors Criminology for the University of Edinburgh Law School.
