Working Title of Phd: Does the maintenance of family relationships assist in rehabilitation and resettlement of offenders? What impact does this have for children of imprisoned parrents (specifically single mothers?)

PhD Synopsis:  Research into the effect of imprisonment on families and especially children has been limited. Research is particularly required into the resettlement and desistance process of imprisonment female parents. Interested at outing children at the heart of the research process and getting their voices and perspectives heard.
