Research Topic: A socio-legal study of judicial sensibilities. This study aims to explore judicial sensibilities through narrative research, drawing on biographical interviews of retired Scottish judges; to document and provide insight of some penal transformations, and continuities, of criminal justice in late twentieth century Scotland, and of the changing political and social conditions of judging during this period.
