Working Lunch: Rory Macrae on The Caledonian System

Join us for a working lunch with Rory Macrae, National Co-ordinator of the Caledonian System.

The Caledonian System is an integrated approach to address men’s domestic abuse and to improve the lives of women, children and men. It does this by working with men convicted of domestic abuse-related offences on a programme to reduce their re-offending while offering integrated services to women and children.

Rory will speak about how the system is operating in practice across Scotland, and relay information about evaluation and assessment of their work. There will be plenty of time for discussion and sharing of practice for those interested in the issue of reducing violence in society.

Working Lunches are an initiative of SCCJR, offering an informal space to talk about shared research and practice. All welcome, please bring your lunch/drink and ideas. RSVP to j.velasquez-valenzuela.1@research.gla.ac.uk
